AcromaPro’s Glazing Stain Neutral New
Glazing Stain Neutral New is a solvent based glaze designed for use over a variety of AcromaPro finishes to provide an antique appearance or accent interior woodwork. This product is heavy bodied and works very well for vertical application. This product can also be applied as a wiping stain on raw interior wood substrates. Glazing Stain Neutral New is heavy bodied and has multiple application methods.
AcromaPro’s Aqua Chroma Stain Bases
Spray Stain Base: Aqua Chroma Spray Stain Base is a ready to use, environmentally sound stain base for achieving excellent grain definition. This product when properly tinted is LEEDS compliant. Dark colors can be achieved with outstanding clairity and excellent adhesion. The application characteristics of this product is very forgiving when compared with it’s solvent based counterparts. It is designed to be used with Aqualux Tinter pigments to a maximum total level of 7 % by weight. Dyes may also be used at a lower level. While
Aqua Chroma allows manufacturers to achieve dark colors in a spray stain, occasionally on deep grain wood and very dark colors, a white pore effect may be observed. Dark colors on open pore wood may require use of Aqua Chroma wipe stain ES5120. Always check your process with a sample piece prior to beginning production.
Wiping Stain Base: Aqua Chroma™ Wiping Stain Base is a ready to use, environmentally sound stain base for achieving excellent grain definition. This easy to use product when properly tinted is LEEDS compliant. Dark colors can be achieved with outstanding clarity and excellent adhesion. They are developed to give good grain definition. Designed to be used with Aqualux Tinters pigments and 896’s to a maximum total level of 20 % by weight. Do not use Aqualux M tinters.
EZ Stains Inter-Mix System
Accessa also offers the EZ Stains inter-mix blending system. The EZ Stains inter-mix blending system allows customers to formulate an unlimited number of stain colors, in-house, in any volume/batch size, in the most cost-effective way possible. This system is ideal for small to medium-sized manufacturers or a “custom department” at a large manufacturer.
The EZ Stains inter-mix blending system components include:
- Nine ready-to-use inter-mix stains – produced by using high-end pigments allowing the creation of an unlimited number of custom colors.
- Clear stain base – superior in its anti-settling properties, can be re-coated quickly, and possesses unique re-wetting qualities. The end result is a quality custom finish with excellent clarity and distinct grain definition.
- Dye concentrates and glazes – to create the darker colors and custom looks popular in today’s marketplace.
- Display box – stocked with 80 oak, maple, or alder solid wood color chips. These colors can be matched in-house using the EZ Stain Formula Book.
- EZ Stains Formula Book – Provides formulations in parts, weight, and volume allowing manufacturers to reproduce all 80 colors efficiently, with speed and at any volume.
General Finishes’ Exterior Stains line are available in 8 beautiful standard colors, and a natural base for custom tinting. This line is suitable for fences, patio furniture, garage doors, entrance doors, outdoor kitchens, and interior windows. They can be applied to wood, fiberglass, PVC, and other composite materials.
