Post treatment is the final stage in the pretreatment process. It removes the effects of hard-water salts and provides enhanced corrosion resistance and paint adhesion.
HitSol HitSeal HSHS100 – HitSeal 100 is a water-based final seal rinse designed to protect ferrous and non-ferrous metals from corrosion during short-term indoor storage. It is perfectly suited for use as a pre-paint steel seal rinse in phosphatizing operations. HitSeal 100 contains no nitrites, nitrates or oils. It is suitable for use in recirculating spray washers, but can also be used in immersion processes.
Henkel Parcolene 99X – A patented chrome- and phosphate-free post treatment specially formulated for use on all types of conversion coatings and used in the pretreatment processing of steel, zinc, and aluminum surfaces.
Henkel Parcolene 50 NC – The treatment is designed for use over phosphate coatings and is applied by spray or immersion. The chrome-free conversion coating agent increases the corrosion resistance of the coatings when painted.
PPG Chemseal 6 – A non-chrome liquid material that is used as a final rinse after an iron or zinc phosphate.
PPG Chemseal 19 – Formulated to provide improved adhesion and added corrosion protection in an environmentally acceptable form, which minimizes waste disposal.
PPG Chemseal 59 – Specially formulated, non-chrome rinse. Environmentally acceptable product eliminates chrome hazard and minimizes waste disposal. It is preferred over the Chemseal 19 when D/I rinsing is available.
PPG Chemseal 100 – Specially formulated, non-chrome rinse. Environmentally acceptable product eliminates chrome hazard and minimizes waste disposal.
